These motors offer greater torque at low speeds and in the mid-range, and have a slower off-line acceleration rate than the Warn XP or Bow Motor 2. The Bow Motor 1 is a very resilient motor and is preferred for \u2018over-volting\u2019 (this is when 24V is fed through 12V motors) by many top teams.<\/p>\n
If you are fitting the older Warn 8274 with a splined pinion shaft, you will also need to replace the pinion gear with the later Splined Pinion Gear model.<\/p>\n
